Register of Deeds
Welcome to the Tuscola County Register of Deeds. Land record indexes are available online from December of 1988 to present. The effective date is listed on the search screen. All other land records dating back to 1852 are available for research by visiting our office.
To begin your search, click on "Land Record Search" in the menu column. Then simply click on "Login as Guest" on our GovOS Technologies homepage and then click on "Search Public Records" found on the left side of screen to begin your search. When finished be sure to click on "log out" on the top right.
To purchase copies, you may obtain them online, come to our office or send self-addressed stamped envelopes with the recording information (liber & page) and the correct fees.

Information
Mailing & Payment
Documents can be hand delivered or mailed for recording. Correct fees and self-addressed stamped envelopes must accompany the recordings. Checks, money orders and cash are acceptable for payment. Checks must have the account holder's and bank's name and address on them and may not exceed the appropriate expiration period. Checks made payable directly to the Register of Deeds for the correct amount will be accepted. Please check all documents and fees thoroughly before submitting. Submission of incorrect fees will cause a rejection of the request.
