The Tuscola County Parcel Drafter is a free resource designed to assist in mapping parcel descriptions. Featured in the app are a parcel layer with basic ownership information and a “Red Star” problems layer. You can click on either a parcel or a red star to see basic info about it. This tool also allows you to input metes and bounds descriptions into the system and instantly see each line mapped against the current county parcel layer. To begin click Start New Traverse and click the point at which the description commences. You can then input the direction and distance using the format n90-00-00e. You can also click the square Digitize button to input the distance and direction by hand. You can access the Parcel Drafter in the frequently accessed tiles, or here
